Intro to Ceramics

While taking Intro to Ceramics, I was assigned a project where I had to study historical ceramic sculptures and recreate one. The pieces that most resonated with me were the Meissen Porcelain sculptures of animals created in 1731 Meissen, Germany. I spent many hours sculpting out the form and the feathers to get accurate proportions. Overall I love the flow of this piece, and the feathers were fun to make.
