Oil Painting

A visualization of people who say they aren’t political in reaction to hearing about crimes against humanity. It is a representation of the culture of not being concerned with world issues until it hits your backyard. The piece creates a tension between the girl licking the lollipop and the nuclear cloud approaching behind her.
