Oil Painting

Bloodlust is a symbolic piece surrounding the political abuse of power against people that cannot defend themselves. A cougar carries the fawn, proud of his kill, but the fawn untouched by blood stays pure and innocent. In the background Mars shines over the scene vibrantly, an allegory for the god of war and inciting violence.
